Passive voice

Passive voice adalah kalimat passive

Kalimat yang bisa di ubah menjadi passive hanya kalimat yang mengandung objek

Simple present (passive)

Rumusnya : BE + V3

Example :

-My mother waters the plant everyday (active)

-The plant is waterved by my mother everyday (passive)

-She eat five hamburgers everyday (active)

-Five hamburgers are eaten by her (passive)

-they cooks cakes everyday (active)

-Cake are cooked by them every Sunday (passive)

The  boy breaks the doll (active )

The doll is broken by the boys (passive)

Simple past (passive)

Rumusnya : WAS\WERE + V3

Example :

-          They cancelled  all fight because of fog (active)

-          All fights were cancelled by them because of fog (passive)

-          The boy stole my wallet in the shop (active)

-          My wallet was stolen by the boy in the market (passive)

-          She planted these flowers yesterday (active)

-          These flowers were planted by her yesterday (passive)

Present continues (passive)

Rumusnya : BE(IS,AM,ARE) + BE ING + V3

Example

-          They are studying English (active)

-          English is being studied by them (passive)

-          The student are playing some games  (active)

-          Some games are being played by student  (passive)

-          Some body recording conversation (active)

-          Our conversation is being recorded by some body (passive)

-          That old woman is singing a rock song (active)

-          A rock song is being sung by that old woman (passive)

Past Continues (passive)

Rumusnya : WAS\WERE + BEING + V3

Example :

-          He was selling my car yesterday around 8pm (active)

-          My car was being sold by him yesterday (passive)

-          The man was buying those clothes (active)

-          Those clothes were being bought by the man (passive)
