1.       If +V-1 /be-1 , Modal-1 + V-1

ð  Realita, dan mungkin terjadi

Ket:

- be-1:  is, am ,are ,have , has

- modal-1: will,must,may,can,shall

Example :

ð  If have money, i will go to L.A

ð  If she goes there, she will meet her

ð  If i have enough apples, i will bake an apples

2.       If +  V-2/were, modal-2+V-1

ð  Un real,bertentangan dengan keadaan sekarang

ð  Tidak mungkin terjadi

Ket :

-          Modal -2 : would, could might

Example :

ð  If i were president, i would overcome the corruption

ð  If were you, iwould go with him

3.       If +had+V-3/had been, modals 2 +have +v3

ð  Unreal, bertentangan dengan masa lalu

Example :

ð  If i had been a president , i would have jailed the corruptor

ð  If you had gone there yesterday, you would have met him

Conjunctions (kata hubung)

Example :

ð  I like singing and browsing internet

ð  I don’t eat meatball and drink coffe

Example :

ð  She is not only smart but also beautyfull

ð  Motorcycle is not simple but also so great

Example :

ð  eventhough Ram hadn’t studied, he passed the exam

Example :

ð  al though Ram had studied very hard he didn’t score well
